Working with corporations, ELI designs tailor-made English training programs that enable the goals of companies to be achieved by targeting strategic language functions to enable effective communications in English in fulfilling particular roles and responsibilities within a company.
Training Needs Analyses (TNAs)
TNAs at the workplace are undertaken by ELI academic staff to identify training targets and priorities.
Placement Tests
Placement Testing at ELI is required of all applicants to programs to determine appropriate course entry.
Course Design
Based on the outcome of the TNA and placement test results, curricula is specifically developed and resources are strategically selected to target language goals.
Through working with numerous corporations, ELI has developed an extensive range of general and industry specific courses.
Assessment
Participants will be continuously assessed throughout the course when doing role-plays, pairwork, groupwork and homework assignments. In this manner, feedback is immediate to personnel as they practice applying ways in which they can enhance their English language skills. End of Course Assessment is required to be fulfilled by all students.
Certification
Certificates of Completion are awarded to participants who successfully pass the End of Course Assessment and attend at least 80% of the course.
Feedback to clients
ELI provides regular feedback to clients on the progress of each participant, including information on attendance, study progress and recommendations.
